In this project, we explored altruism and generosity through history and through our own actions.
We created our own philosophies on generosity and created projects showing what we thought about generosity.
We have documented all of our progress through photo journalistic essays.

Making a bigger impact
In this project my partner and I decided to give something greater than money and instead gave our time. Some examples were that we volunteered at a kindergarten, picked up trash at multiple places, and also gave lunches to the homeless. View our blog here

February 6th. Learning with the little ones
This project for the most part has been a fun and educational learning experience for me. I hope my peers have had the same educational and fun experience that I have had. During the time at the kindergarten I learned that giving money is not everything that makes the people in need happy, but also giving your time to others can make the same or greater

February 11th. Trash day.
|
Today we decided that we were going to spend the day at the bay picking up trash. I enjoyed this because i feel like it would be a way to give back to our community and be helpful since there wasn't anyone to clean up but us.

Before editing
I choose this photo to be improved because all of the other photos seemed to be good as they are. This photo was too bright and it makes it hard to look at.
After editing
They say that photos tell a story, so this picture tells the story of cleaning up the bay. This photo was edited to be brighter to show that this is a good deed and shouldn't be thought upon as a sad or depressing photo.
